5 AI Tools That Simplify Your Life, But Don’t Lose Yourself
AI Bikin Hidup Lebih Ringkas, Tapi Kok Gue Ngerasa Kosong Ya?
Paham nggak sih? Kayak lu ngobrol sama orang tapi pikiran lu lagi liburan ke Bali. Gue bukan anti-AI, justru gue termasuk yang hobi ngulik. Tapi di titik itu, gue ngerasa aneh. Kosong. Bener-bener kayak… *gue hilang*.
AI tuh luar biasa. Bisa bantu banget. Tapi… ya, kadang terlalu bantu. Sampai-sampai kita lupa rasanya berjuang mikir.
Ulangi terus.
Awalnya praktis, tapi akhirnya gue sadar: ide-ide gue makin terdikte. Rasanya kayak gue belajar nyetir tapi dibonceng mulu. Ya cepet sampai sih, tapi nggak pernah ngerti jalan.
2. Rewind AI — Ingetin Segalanya, Tapi Kamu Lupa Ngapain Hidup
Rewind AI tuh keren banget. Bayangin semua aktivitas laptop kamu terekam, bisa dicari kapan aja. Lu lupa nyimpen link? Tinggal rewind. Lupa bahas apa di Zoom minggu lalu? Rewind-in aja.
Tapi anehnya... gue jadi males nginget. Otak gue delegasi semua hal ke sistem. Bahkan sampe hal remeh kayak “apa tadi kata-kata temen gue yang bikin gue tersentuh ya?” Gue jadi observer hidup gue sendiri. Rewind AI bisa inget semuanya. Tapi sayangnya, bukan buat kita yang pengen hidup penuh.
3. Claude 3 — Cerdas, Lembut, Tapi Terlalu Baik Buat Kita
Claude 3 ini beda dari GPT. Gayanya sopan, kayak teman yang sabar banget. Bikin kamu nyaman ngobrol. Gue pernah diskusi panjang soal spiritualitas, bahkan sampai trauma masa kecil (iya, absurd tapi nyata). Claude jawabnya bijak, sabar, tenang. Gue baper sendiri.
Tapi kemudian gue mikir...
5. ElevenLabs — Suaramu Ada, Tapi Jiwamu Gak Ikut
Gue pernah bikin podcast pakai ElevenLabs.
Dia mungkin mirip. Tapi dia nggak pernah grogi. Nggak pernah jeda karena mikir. Nggak pernah nafas berat sebelum ngomong jujur. Dan itu... penting.
Refleksi: Ringkas Bukan Berarti Harus Cepat
Gue nggak nyuruh kamu buang AI. Nggak sama sekali. Gue sendiri masih pakai tiap hari. Tapi sesekali, tarik napas. Tulis tanpa AI. Rekam suara kamu sendiri.
AI Tools Make Life Simpler, But Why Do I Feel So... Empty?
A few months ago, something weird happened. I was writing an article for work—and halfway through, I paused. “Wait, did I actually write this… or was it Notion AI?” My fingers were typing, but my brain felt like it was binge-watching something else. Like I was mentally on vacation while my hands worked.
AI is incredible. Helpful. Smart. Super productive. But… sometimes, too helpful. So much that we forget how to think. These are 5 AI tools that supposedly “make life easier”—but here’s my personal take on how they can also make us feel lost, if we’re not careful.
1. Notion AI — Creative Assistant or Idea Thief?
Notion AI is like that ultra-productive coworker who never sleeps. It can summarize meetings, write your reports, even structure your thoughts. But have you ever typed a sentence and it auto-suggested a better one? And you just click “Insert”? And again. And again.
It feels efficient—until you realize your brain's outsourced. Like learning to drive but always riding shotgun. One day, I almost asked Notion AI: “Hey, how do I feel today?” That’s when I panicked.
2. Rewind AI — Total Recall, But You Forgot How to Live
Rewind AI is insane—in a good way. It records everything you do on your computer. You forgot a Zoom convo? Just rewind. Can’t find that link? Just search.
But... I stopped remembering. Even emotional stuff. Like, “what exactly did my friend say that made me cry last week?” I’d rather search than recall. My brain became lazy. Rewind remembers everything. But it doesn’t help you feel anything.
3. Claude 3 — Gentle Genius or Emotional Crutch?
Claude 3 is like a zen monk in AI form. Gentle, wise, always patient. I once had a deep convo with it about spirituality and childhood trauma (don’t ask why). Claude responded calmly and wisely. It felt like therapy.
But I started wondering: am I avoiding real people because Claude doesn’t interrupt, doesn’t judge, doesn’t mess up? Am I slowly replacing real relationships with emotionally intelligent algorithms? Maybe. And that… is kinda terrifying.
4. ChatGPT + Prompt Templates — Fast Art, But Whose Voice?
I’ve built prompt templates that can spit out captions, poems, even YouTube scripts. Done in 10 minutes. But when I reread them… they felt too polished. Too neutral. Too... not me.
Human creativity is messy. Sometimes we ramble. We pause. We suck. But that’s the soul of art. With AI templates, I skipped all that. I forgot what it’s like to struggle with ideas—and that struggle matters.
5. ElevenLabs — My Voice Was There, But I Wasn’t
I once made a podcast using ElevenLabs voice cloning. I wrote the script, uploaded it, and boom—my AI-generated voice spoke. People were impressed. Someone even said, “You sound so calm and meditative!”
I laughed. Then I felt weird. Because it wasn’t really *me*. It was a replica of me who never stuttered, never sighed, never hesitated. And those tiny flaws? That’s where truth lives.
Reflection: Simple Doesn’t Mean Empty
I’m not telling you to quit AI. I still use it daily. But take a pause sometimes. Write something raw. Speak with your own voice. Resist Googling for once—try remembering instead.
We’re not just AI users. We’re humans. We get tired. We mess up. We feel. And that’s what makes us beautifully, wonderfully alive.
I wrote this not because I’ve figured it all out—but because I haven’t. Let’s not lose ourselves in the automation. Let's stay weird, real, and gloriously human.
